Mission
The  department of Information Management of Ming Chuan University continues to  strive for education in integrated 
professionalism utilizing information  technology as well as seeing and solving organizational management problems ,  
preparing students with theory and practice based education for nurturing  their capabilities of creation , problem sol-
ving, team spirit, and multi-faceted  world view in order to serve the  nation and society.       

GOALS

  1. Faculty members pursue academic and professional excellence: they are encouraged in academic research and industry academia cooperation in order to promote their research achievements and build up their practical experiences.

 

  1. Students receive theory- and practice-based education: they are oriented to pursue higher degrees or participate in industry through learning of theory-based knowledge and practicing of market-based professional techniques in order to promote their theory-based knowledge and practice-based experience.

 

  1. Students emphasize creativity and problem solving through academic, vocational, and other extracurricular activities, they enhance their creative thinking with multi-faceted views and problem solving capabilities.

 

  1. Students emphasize team spirit through class-, society-, and group-based activities; they enhance their parti-cipation in and leading of academic, vocational, and other extracurricular activities or assignments in order to promote their emotional inte-lligence and capability of cooperationg in teams and building team spirit.

 

  1. Students attain broad worldview through being oriented to explore the broader world through instruction in English and internationalized curriculum contents.
